Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2026 will take place from August 25-27 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The exhibition will bring together the global textile and apparel industry with a strong focus on functionality, sustainability, innovation, and digital transformation.

The event follows a successful 2025 edition that welcomed more than 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions and over 100,000 buyers from 123 countries and regions.

This year's exhibition will focus on four major themes: Fashion Forward, Performance Textiles, Sustainability, and Textile Future. These themes will highlight new fabric trends, high-performance textiles, sustainable materials, AI-powered design, smart textiles, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

"In today's evolving market, buyers are looking for more than materials. They are looking for innovation, direction, and long-term partners," said Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.

One of the key attractions this year will be the Pet Boutique, which will make its autumn edition debut after launching successfully earlier this year. The showcase will feature fabrics and materials for pet clothing, accessories, and related products. Organizers said the global pet textile market is expected to grow at a 5.6% compound annual growth rate through 2031, with Asia-Pacific leading the growth.

The exhibition will also expand its Functional Lab, where exhibitors will present advanced functional fabrics and accessories. The area will introduce a new Product Presentation Series through The CUBE, allowing brands to present their latest innovations directly to buyers.

Several specialized sourcing zones will cover different parts of the apparel supply chain. These include Accessories Vision, Beyond Denim, Essential Suits & Shirts, Innovation & Digital Solutions Zone, Premium Wool Zone, Salon Europe, and Verve for Design. Together, these zones will offer buyers a complete sourcing platform for fabrics, trims, digital technologies, and textile design.

The exhibition will be held alongside Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC, and PH Value, creating one of the largest gatherings for the global apparel and textile value chain.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2026 is co-organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Textile Information Center.
