India ITME Society has announced the launch of Textile Horizons 2026, a two-day international conference to be held on December 5–6, 2026, at India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML), Greater Noida, with Fibre2Fashion as the Knowledge Partner. The conference will take place alongside India ITME 2026, the country’s flagship textile machinery exhibition scheduled from December 4–9.

Positioned as a knowledge platform within the broader exhibition, Textile Horizons 2026 aims to bring together industry stakeholders to examine the future direction of textile manufacturing. While the exhibition floor will focus on business transactions and machinery showcases, the conference will address the strategic, technological and sustainability challenges shaping the sector.

The launch comes at a time when India’s textile industry is undergoing structural transformation. Policy initiatives such as the ₹44,450 crore (~$5.4 billion) PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) scheme and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programme are accelerating investments in integrated manufacturing and man-made fibres. At the same time, sustainability requirements such as zero liquid discharge (ZLD) compliance and evolving global sourcing standards are redefining operational benchmarks.

The conference will be structured around two core themes: Technology & Efficiency and Sustainability & Circular Economy. Sessions will cover areas such as smart manufacturing, AI and IoT integration, robotics in textile production, energy optimisation, circular design, low-impact processing, and compliance frameworks. The programme will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, technology showcases and case study presentations.

“The conference strengthens the overall value proposition of India ITME by creating a structured forum for knowledge exchange alongside the exhibition,” said Dr. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director of the India ITME Society. “It aligns with our objective of supporting industry modernisation and fostering meaningful engagement across the textile value chain.”

Delegates are expected to include textile and garment manufacturers, machinery and technology providers, fibre and yarn producers, brands and retailers, research institutions, policymakers, sustainability experts and investors. The conference is curated for decision-makers, including owners, managing directors, plant heads and sourcing leaders.

The speaker line-up will include global industry leaders, technology innovators, sustainability specialists, brand sourcing heads and senior policymakers.

Textile Horizons 2026 will also be complemented by established India ITME programmes, including the CEO Conclave, India ITME Technical Awards and networking events, along with B2B meetings on the exhibition floor.

Entry to the conference will be free upon Visitor registration of India ITME 2026. Sponsorship opportunities across multiple categories are now open.
