Unifi Inc., maker of Repreve, has announced the winners of its ninth annual Repreve Champions of Sustainability Awards, recognising brands and mills advancing circularity in the global textile industry.

Together with partners, Unifi has helped recycle over 46 billion plastic bottles and convert the equivalent of one billion T-shirts’ worth of textile and yarn waste into high-quality recycled fibres.

This year, the programme introduced new Textile Waste Awards to highlight innovation in waste-to-fibre solutions. Key winners include Walmart (Joyspun socks with Repreve Takeback), Marmot (ThermaLoop insulation), and Save the Duck and Lafuma for transitioning to textile waste inputs.

Additional recognitions included Swisstex for sustainable fabric innovation, Dagne Dover for circularity, and QVC’s Me by Jennie Garth for newcomer excellence.

“Their leadership shows how recycled and circular materials can scale while maintaining performance and quality,” said Eddie Ingle.

The awards reinforce Unifi’s focus on scalable, traceable recycled solutions that transform waste into value across the global supply chain.
